AnimalTalk: Do Animals have a Life Purpose? One special dog’s story about rediscovering her life’s purpose

Have you ever wondered what your own life’s purpose was? Did you know that animals also have a life’s purpose?
I recently worked with a very frightened young dog who had forgotten her purpose. She had been badly abused the first four months of her life, living in fear and shut up in a small cage most of the time. She was not socialized at all, nor was she taught anything except to be afraid, always afraid.

This sweet soul was rescued and taken to a loving home where the new owners expected her to respond fairly quickly to their tender loving care. However, her progress was very slow and limited, and her new owners despaired of her ever overcoming her past. And so they called me for help.

When I communicated with her, she told me she didn’t have any idea how to fit into their household, and was barking in fear at everyone, telling them to stay back. Her only comfort zone was to hide in one spot the majority of the time. The only time she felt slightly safe was with the woman and only when they were alone.

The older two dogs had begun to be very aggressive toward her and each other. They told me that they had tried to teach her the rules, where her place was in the family pack, and about respect, but she wasn’t getting it. They told me that this youngster was hearing strange voices in her head and was so scattered mentally that they didn’t know what to do with her or how to reach her. The aggression had escalated to fighting and biting, and was getting out of hand pretty quickly with the growing anxiety and instability in the household.
First I had to help her remember who she truly was in order to recover her original joyful, wise, and loving spirit. She began to recall what her purpose in this lifetime was originally.

Once she remembered, I was able to help her let go of the traumatic events that had happened to her. Finally, I could help her understand her new family better and what was expected of her.

I also spoke with the older two dogs and helped them resolve their frustrations with the newcomer. The older female volunteered to take on the task of gently teaching her what she needed to know like a mother would with a much younger puppy.

During the session, we watched as she progressed from being very afraid and timid, to laying down stretched out by the sofa where we sat, relaxed with her eyes closed and her heart at peace for the first time.

It was a remarkable experience, and it reminded me why I love animal communication so much. This is also why millions of people all over the world are dedicated to learning how to talk with their own animals.

Animal communication helps reveal your purpose together. It’s also helpful with obedience and training issues, performance, behavior problems, health issues, and euthanasia decisions. Many companion animals choose to spend their lives attempting to break through our barriers, helping us heal and reconnecting us with the circle of life.

So often when you have a problem with your animals, you do a lot of expensive guesswork – asking different professionals, trying different equipment or products, using various tests and procedures to try and determine what’s going on and what to do to help… and sometimes you get lucky and find answers, and other times, you’re no better off than when you started! And you can even make things worse!

I believe that communicating with your animals is the best place to start resolving any problem. After we know what their viewpoint is, and all the many factors of the issue, THEN we can go about working on resolving it.

Learning to communicate telepathically with other beings is a priceless gift. It allows us to experience that we are not alone, that we are connected, and that we can help each other.

Did You Know That Your Animals Reflect You?

They often mirror and react to your own personal imbalances and issues.
“That’s just spooky!” A recent client told me when I pointed out that both she and her dog had a problem in the exact same vertebrae in their backs! I assured her that this happens all the time, and that it has to do with The Human Animal BodyMind Connection.

Did you know that animals mirror you in mind, body and spirit? They Reflect Us. Animals are spiritual teachers, and are at times barometers of our souls! So when we have a problem, they are talking to us. The question is: Are we listening!?

The Human Animal BodyMind Connection is a deeper assessment of the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual connections between humans and animals, and often serve by reflecting back to us the lessons we are here to learn.
It’s been said that more than 90% of our problems are based in emotional, psychological or psychosomatic issues!
When we are in denial, are disconnected or disassociated, our emotional wounds are deep beneath the surface of our subconscious mind. The world around us, our animals and our children, will mirror these issues back to us by acting out or reacting to our distress.

Our animals know us better than almost any other being on the planet. They see what’s in our minds eye, they feel what we’re feeling, and they are often closer to our hearts than anyone else.
What is your pet trying to tell you? Are you and your animal friend having “issues”? It’s time for you to start listening to your animals!

When we’re in pain, they may also be in pain. Susan Chernack McElroy, author of Animals as Teachers and Healers, tells her story about how her dog had the same rare cancer she came down with. In the book, she credits her dog with teaching her how to survive cancer! That’s what gave her the idea for the book – so she went on to collect other people’s stories about how their animals mirrored them in some way.

So the Human Animal BodyMind Connection is about looking under the surface to discover what the real issues are, why they are showing up the way they are, whose problem it really is (and it could be both of them!), and what to do to rebalance the relationship.

“Just last night, I was gazing at my sweet old dog who is recovering from just having a tumor removed from her forehead, slightly off center and above her right eye. My glance shifted to her brother whose brown spots above his eyes are now misaligned because of surgery to repair a wound received above his right eye in a fight with another dog. I myself had a patch of precancerous skin removed from above my right eye; I was allergic to the antibiotic, and now have a bump of scar tissue there. Last night, as we all three looked at each other, it hit me; we, and our healing wounds, were in fact all mirroring each other!” — Shelby

Our animal partners are in many ways our best friends, the beings who know and love us better than anyone else, who chose to spend their lives with us, helping us heal, loving us when we’re sad or sick, often showing us what unconditional love means, and many times demonstrating what it takes to live life fully in every way… reminding us of what’s important, and what’s not!

Unfortunately, they also mirror our issues and woundings, reflecting our pain and anger, sponging our grief, sadness and dis-ease. When they get sick or act out with behavior that is inappropriate and even life threatening, they are asking for help, telling us that the load they are carrying for us is more than they can bear!

My 8 year old cat, Peach, couldn’t get off the ground anymore, could hardly eat, barely walk, was weak and very crabby. I finally thought to ask her what was really going on and she said she was helping us by attempting to drain off all the negative emotions my husband and I were struggling with — like a sponge into her own body. She had taken so much of our grief, anger, frustrations into herself that she was dying. I told her she didn’t have permission to do such a thing, and she replied that it was the only way she knew to help us! That she thought it was her job!

I told her NO! I didn’t want her carrying my pain or grief or anger and neither did my husband! We wanted her to help us by bringing us back to our center, our peace, our power. And from that place we could learn our lessons and heal our relationship. But that it wasn’t her job to carry our pain in her own body. That in fact it added to our stress and upset! Once she understood and accepted her new role, she returned to good health within just a few days, and went on to live to the ripe old age of 19 ½ years!
So the first question we should ask is: how are we involved in the pet’s problem?
For instance, with fearful or aggressive problems often the human is afraid subconsciously, so the animal either acts out their fear, or, becomes more protective which, of course, looks like aggression! Or the animal is in reaction to the fear, which is a huge instinct trigger for them, by the way!
When we look a little deeper, examining the subconscious issues, we usually discover something that we haven’t been able to make peace with. Then through counseling and other healing modalities, our health and behavior improves!
I promise you, what your animal do makes perfect sense to them – from their viewpoint! Our job is to listen to them so we can learn about their experiences, share their wisdom, and learn about any discomforts so we can take appropriate action.

The second question becomes: what do you do about it? How can you separate out your animal’s issues from your own? I created a special class to help you do exactly that. Check it out by clicking here:

I believe that many animals are master teachers and/or angels in disguise, and they all have something wonderful to teach us. This certainly includes those precious, wonderful beings we call ‘therapy animals.’ Our scientists have finally been able to measure some of the remarkable beneficial effects that animals have on the elderly, ill, dis-advantaged and handicapped. The noble ranks of therapy animals include dogs, cats, birds and horses, among many others.

I had the privilege of working with a wonderful therapy dog not long ago. The owner is a professional counselor, and her dog helps her in her practice. My client was increasingly concerned about her beloved companion and partner because, starting last fall, the dog had, for the first time in her life, shown the unmistakable signs of fear of thunder and loud noises.

Her companion had never been a fearful dog, and was remarkably loving with everyone with whom she came in contact. She had never before shown fear of thunderstorms or loud noises. The owner had done what she could to address the problem, but without making a difference.

When I tuned in and ‘spoke’ with the dog telepathically, I asked her how she was doing. She said it had been difficult during the past few months. She was very nervous and definitely not herself. She had lost her peace and tranquility, and was not interacting with people like she had always loved doing before. I asked her to tell me about thunderstorms and why she was afraid of them or if she could tell me what had happened to make her afraid.

Instead of answering my question directly, she shared with me that she had been having recurring nightmares. I asked her if she could tell me more about that. She was very frightened, but was glad to be able to share these nightly terrors with someone.

She showed me an image of herself standing, watching her human, and then she heard a monstrous, thunderous boom that shook the Earth. Standing wide-eyed, she then watched as great billowing gray clouds swallowed up everything and everyone she loved and about whom she cared.

In the dream, she would frantically run and bark, calling for her owner, trying to get to safety but always losing her human to the ominous clouds as they blanketed everything. Bark! Bark!! She could almost hear her human calling her, but try as she might, she could never find her again. She was lost and helpless, despairing of ever seeing her beloved human again, feeling that she had somehow failed to warn her of this catastrophe. She wanted so desperately to save her loved ones, but always lost them to the noise and that terrifying, all consuming cloud. In her waking hours, she was anxious and fretful, living in the dread of any loud noise that reminder her of the awful nightmare, because somehow she was convinced that the dream was based in truth.

As I watched and listened, I realized that she was describing the events of September 11, 2001 — the terrorist attacks on New York City! I asked my client if she had been personally affected by the events, and/or if she had counseled others regarding them and she said yes to both questions.

At this point, we both understood how deeply this sweet, telepathic animal had been affected by our nation’s tragedy and our reactions to it.

In retrospect, it should come as no surprise to us that our animals are also deeply affected by world events and tragedies, especially when they affect us so profoundly. It is helpful for all of us, humans and our animal companions, to discuss these things openly with each other, to share comfort and hope, as well as sadness, pain, and fear.
This is exactly what we did with this dog, and we also discussed what she should do if something like that should occur. A week later, her owner reported that her dog was acting less fearful and was continuing to improve day by day.

Being able to communicate with our animal friends opens up the avenue for a great many opportunities, for both us and the animals, to heal mentally, emotionally and physically and also to learn from each other. You can learn to communicate with your animal friends yourself. There are many resources available to you, such as free classes, books, and training sessions that will help you bridge the communication gap between you and your animal friends.

Wouldn’t it be an amazing thing if you could clearly and truthfully know exactly what is happening with your animal friends? You can once and for all understand if your animal friend’s issues are emotional, physical or if the issue is really something related to you. You have the untapped ability to get the answers you need. I encourage you to take the next step in learning how to communicate with your animals.

You know that your animal tries to tell you things every day.

However, what if you don’t know how to spot a bad habit that comes from a reaction to emotional trauma, or whether they are experiencing physical pain, illness or discomfort? Even the most caring, loving owners mistakenly do things all the time that adversely affects their animals.

That’s why if you go to a vet or a trainer before you have a discussion with them, you can actually hurt them! They may wind up being misdiagnosed or mistreated, because they could be in reaction to an emotional, mental or management problem that has nothing to do with a physical problem.

Do you know something is wrong with your horse or dog, but you haven’t been able to discover what it is, or how to resolve it? Maybe it’s a behavior problem, training issue, you’re having trouble advancing to the next training level, you suffer performance anxiety (or your horse or dog does)? Maybe you are struggling with a mystery lameness issue or health problem?

How do you know what is really wrong unless you communicate directly with your animal?
Wouldn’t it be great if you could get inside your animals head, if you could understand them, what they are thinking or feeling, why they do the things they do? Listen to their wisdom? Share their experiences? Ask them to help you help them by becoming a willing participant in problem resolution?

I also bet that you didn’t know that your own emotional, physical, mental and energetic issues are affecting your animals? That’s right. Your own imbalances, mental and emotional states of being, physical health or illness, personal tragedies, traumas and woundings affect them dramatically at many levels.

Often the problems that seem to be coming from your animals are actually your personal issues, because your animal is always reflecting or are in reaction to something you are doing (or not doing). They will react to disturbances in their environment. Or they are simply trying to help you by carrying your own illness within their own body. It has been seen many times where animals carry the same cancers and other diseases and chronic pain that their humans wind up with.

Where to Begin

First: Communicate with your animal directly to get the real issues straight from them. Animals always do what makes sense to them, from their viewpoint. Our first job is to discover what is actually needed and what’s not, what helps and what doesn’t.

Second: Create a plan with their participation outlining how to best resolve the issue based on what they tell us. This could be veterinarian intervention, or it could be a change in management including diet, handling, or training. And, if your animal does need medical assistance, give them a voice to express how they are feeling, what hurts, and to let us know if what your vet or trainer is doing for them is helping them or not.

Third: Address your own emotional, mental and physical issues directly to create more balance, sanity, clarity and peace. Discover how your issues are involved in their problem, and what you can do to change things between you.
I think that we can all agree that being able to communicate effectively with your animal friends is very serious indeed. Because, if you aren’t in alignment with your horse, you can both die! Or your dog could wind up dead because they hurt someone out of fear or misunderstanding, or did something stupid that they didn’t know what the consequences would be, like running in the street or getting hit by a car, or trying to play with the moving stick on the ground that turned out to be a snake or possibly eating something that was poison.

Animal communicators are trained and gifted in bridging the communication gap between you and your animal friend. You can also learn how to communicate yourself. There are clues that you can watch out for that will give you a better idea of what your animals are thinking and feeling. Learning to communicate with your loved ones is a not as difficult as you may think.

There are resources available that make this task much easier. Your animal communicator can help you by directing you to available resources and most likely he or she will have created their own learning models that will help you move forward in learning to speak with your animal friends in a way that will have them clearly understanding you.

Wouldn’t it be great if you asked your animal friends how they feel that they could actually tell you and you could understand them? That can be a reality for you!

Humans have traditionally held themselves as being separate and more intelligent (read “important”) than other Beings. They perceived animals to be different (“they don’t talk or look like we do; therefore, they are obviously inferior to us”).

Until recently, this has been easy to believe where animals are concerned. They cannot speak “the language” like we do (of course, they don’t have the vocal apparatus humans do which makes this feat basically impossible!). And, after all, humans can often control, dominate and manipulate them.

However, recent studies have shown that animals are much more intelligent than previously thought, and in fact, may surpass human intelligence in some ways. Researchers have observed multiple levels, methods and types of communication that were heretofore unknown and unsuspected.

Animals (and plants) use a variety of communication techniques to converse with each other. Alternate frequencies, projections, sounds and body language have been observed, and researchers now know there are additional variables that have yet to be discovered. I believe that these variables are telepathic in nature, and that every Being is born with the ability to communicate on this level.

Every animal lover knows they have a special communication connection with the animals in their lives. Many young children can “hear” animals talk and can talk back – that is, until their parents convince them that this isn’t possible and they are being silly.

When we succeed in conforming our communication to the accepted modes of speech used by other humans, we shut ourselves down and begin to box up other species into neat packages that we can then pretend to manipulate and control. And, sadly, we lose an important part of ourselves and our connection with all of Life.

What if all creation contained a Divine Spark and God dwelled in each and every living thing, regardless of body shape or function? What if each separate Being was really like every other Being – the only difference was the type of body through which life was experienced? What if all Creation shared common essence, feelings and needs?

Many of us live with master teachers, healers and seekers disguised as animals… Who are you living with?

Have you ever wondered what an animal communicator (pet psychic) could tell you, and why enlisting the aid of one would be worthwhile? Consider how knowing the answers to these basic 5 questions could improve the well-being, health and happiness of your animal friend:

1) Are they happy? Everyone thinks their animals are happy because we so badly want them to be. However, if your dog or other animal is exhibiting aggressive, seems sad or worried, or shows other bad behavior then that is a sign that something is wrong in their world.

2) Does anything hurt? We think that everything is ok… but is it? Many times small or even large physical problems are going on with animals and the symptoms are not glaringly evident to their human caretaker. You will immediately see if your animal has an issue with a leg or foot, but you may not know if they have stomach problems, toothache, headache, vision… or other harder to diagnose health issues.

3) Do you like what you are doing? So many times I see people get animals for a specific purpose, such as a guard dog or competition horse. But without getting input from your animal friend as to whether they really want to do that particular job, you may see signs of misbehavior because they are trying to tell you that they do NOT want to do the assigned tasks, or they have some confusion or other difficulty with their job.

4) Are you living your purpose? Just like you, your animal friends have a life purpose. They are very clear about what they like to do, want to do, and are meant to do. For your animal friends to be truly fulfilled in this lifetime it is important for you to understand what their purpose actually is.

5) Do you have a message for your human friend? Your animal friend is trying to communicate with you every day! They are trying to tell you that they love you, because they need love as much as you do. They are trying to tell you what they want and need from you. They are also trying to pass along their wisdom and teachings to you, and yes they have profound things to share if you can hear their message. They may also be trying to tell you there is a something physically wrong with you if they sense something amiss in your body. Animals are natural healers!

Pet psychics use animal communication and other gifts to intuit what is going on with an animal at very deep levels They can read and understand what is happening on an energy level with animals, meaning they can tell if something is physically or emotionally wrong, and can then have a discussion with the animal about their findings to get more clarity and to see what input the animal has for his/her condition.

If there is indeed something wrong or the animal simply has a message for their human friend the pet psychic/animal communicator will be able to bridge the communication gap between animal and human. You the animal caretaker will be able to take action to correct anything that needs attention in the most efficient way possible.

No guessing about what the problem is! You have a clear and definitive idea of exactly what the issue is and what the root cause is as well. That saves you energy, time and money… and can even save your animal their life and well-being.

The largest organ is…..
—————————————————–
The Skin
The skin is the largest organ of the body and, depending on the
species and age, may represent 12-24% of an animal’s body weight.
The skin has many functions, including serving as an enclosing
barrier and providing environmental protection, regulating
temperature, producing pigment, vitamin D and sensory perception.
The MOST common complaint about the skin is itchiness
or pruritis.
Pruritus is defined as an unpleasant sensation within the skin
that provokes the desire to scratch.
The skin is richly innervated, and these nerve fibers
transmit the signals to the brain that lead to itching.
The compounds in the skin that cause itching include histamines
(released from mast cell degranulation), proteolytic enzymes
( proteases), and leukotrienes.
PREVENTING and treating the itching is directed at
finding the underlying cause, and Blocking the release of the
above compounds.
The most common causes of pruritus are parasites, infections,
allergic skin diseases, and miscellaneous causes (eg, cutaneous
neoplasia). Many diseases that are nonpruritic (eg, endocrinopathies)
become pruritic when the patient develops secondary bacterial or
yeast infections.
SO what can you do?
Eliminate the treatable causes first, and treat the
secondary problems, such as secondary yeast infections.
ELIMINATE topical parasites as a cause. Treat and rule out Fleas,
Lice and Mange mites. The topical conventional treatment I advise
is Revolution.
WHAT IS GOING IN HIS MOUTH?  STOP THE TREATS. If you suspect that
your pet is allergic to something in their diet, first stop all
traditional treats (Milk-Bones) and table scraps. Safe treats
include those made without animal protein or dairy products
(those made with oats and apples) or vegetables from your fridge
(e.g. carrots). If your pet is still scratching after 3 weeks,
then she may be allergic to her regular food.
ELIMINATION DIET. This means chancing your pet’s food to an
entirely different type which she has never eaten before. The
most important part is a unique protein source. There are a
number of commercially available allergy diets for pets. One
that I prefer for dogs is Fish and Potato. For cats, it can be
more difficult, but one I have had luck with has duck as the
protein source. These diets can also be made at home.
THE SUPPLEMENT CONNECTION. Fatty Acid supplements are very
helpful in decreasing the level of inflammation. Omega 3 fatty
acids are most important. A great, inexpensive source is ground
flax seeds; I give 1 tsp per cup of dog food.  Cats are unable
to metabolize flax, so I only recommend the liquid fish oil
supplement for them. Other sources include primrose oil and
specific veterinary supplements.
ANTIOXIDANTS. Vitamin E and Vitamin C may help: the Vitamin E
dose is 100 IU per 10 lbs of body weight once daily; the Vitamin
C dose is 100 mg per 10 lbs of body weight once daily.
ANTIHISTAMINES. Benadryl is the most commonly used antihistamine.
It is give at a dose of 1 mg per pound of body weight, 2-3 times
a day. Cats respond well to Chlortripolon at 2 mg, 2-3 times a
day. It is best to consult your veterinarian before using these
medications. It often takes 14 days of using these to see if they
are helping.
BIOFLAVONOIDS. These are compounds found in the pigment of fruits
and vegetables. One found in apples, QUERCETIN, has been shown to
be effective in reducing itchiness in people: the dose is 25 mg/10
lbs of body weight twice daily.

I would like to thank Dr. Andrew Jones for sharing this valuable information with us.  Click here to learn more about his revolutionary new “Veterinarians‘ Secrets Home Study Course.”

Information from Relationship Experts, Susie and Otto Collins. http://www.susieandottocollins.com

If we’re really honest, we all lie to ourselves at one time or another. Sometimes we lie to ourselves to not hurt someone we love and sometimes we lie to ourselves because if we really looked at our “truth,” it might require us to make some choices that we may not want to make. These lies can be big or they can be small. In the past, from old habits, Susie has kept some bits of information from Otto so as not to hurt his feelings and it’s only backfired on her.

She found that it only built walls between the two of us to keep information from him but when the truth came out, her imagined scenario was much worse than what actually happened. The lie she told herself was that holding back the truth was easier than telling something uncomfortable to someone you love.

So how about you? Are there any big or even little lies you tell yourself that might be preventing you from having a deeper connection and love with someone else? Here are 7 dangerous relationship lies you may be telling yourself
and some tips on how to start telling your truth…

1. “My relationship will be fine without putting much effort into it.”

Many couples put their intimate relationship behind everything else when they set priorities for their lives.

You have to decide that the relationship is important in your life and give it the time and attention it needs. As we’ve said before, it doesn’t matter what you say or intend about your relationship. Your actions are what speak the loudest.

Tip: Look at your actions in your relationship and make sure that they are congruent with what you say your intentions
are. Are you spending enough time and energy on the relationship?

2. “If I focus on what I don’t like in my partner, he or she will change.”
The problem with this lie is that we truly do get more of what we focus on. So if we focus on what we don’t like, we just
get more of it. For evidence, just look at what happens in your life!

Tip: Stop when you start to criticize with words or even in your mind. Turn your thinking to what you like about the
person and begin to see how your relationship gets better.

3. “He/She loves me so I can treat him/her this way.”

Very often, people in relationships treat the people closest to them worse than they treat acquaintances or even total
strangers. They think that because a person “loves” them, they can say or do whatever they want.

We’ve found that this is exactly the opposite of what needs to happen to feed and keep love alive.

Tip: This week, do something kind for someone in your life that you wouldn’t normally do and without expectation of
anything in return.

4. “I don’t have to tell him/her I love him/her and that I appreciate what he/she does for me. It’s understood.”

One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is that when we get into a committed relationship is that we can leave
appreciation at the door. Appreciation should be understood. Right?

Nothing could be further from the truth. You may be thinking that you need to say “thank you” and
just haven’t taken the time or energy to do it. We urge you to make a habit of expressing appreciation. If you do, you’ll
find your relationships to be filled with much more happiness and joy.

Tip: Look at what someone special does for you or what they mean to you and say a word of appreciation about it
to them. It might be something as simple as “I like your smile” or “Thank you for cooking dinner last night.”

5. “I don’t have to ask for what I want. He/she SHOULD already know.”

Most people expect the people who are in relationship with them to be mind readers.

If you’re expecting others to be psychics, you’re in for a painful ride if you’re in relationship with them. If
you want your needs to be met, you have to tell people what these needs are.

You also have to tell them in a way that they can hear them. Sometimes this takes courage, but we know that when
you clearly ask for what you want, you bypass assumptions, resentments and miscommunications.

Tip: What desire have you been putting off communicating to another person? Whether it’s a desire to have more
“dates” alone, more romance, more help around the house, a promotion at work, or a dinner date with a friend, the
only way you’ll get any of these things is to ask.

6. “My way is the right way and you’re wrong.”

Be open to the possibility that someone else’s opinion or way of doing things may be just as valid or important as
yours. Just because their way is different, doesn’t make them or you wrong. If you’re constantly judging, being
defensive and building walls, you’re not open to possibilities and to the love that is possible between
two people.

Tip: Choose someone who always seems to push your “buttons” and makes you angry or you always judge.
During one conversation, just listen to this person without judging them with words or even in your mind.
What did you discover?

7. “I need to protect myself from being hurt by holding part of ME back from others.”

We can be in a relationship for many years and still not allow another person to penetrate our walls of protection.

If you want to have relationships that are alive and growing, being willing to risk is a prerequisite.

Tip: Examine what walls you’ve built to keep others out.

It might be that you “close down” and retreat when there’s conflict between the two of you.

It might be that you are afraid to ask for what you want.

We invite you to choose one relationship where you are fearful or get triggered easily and exercise the courage to
take a risk and say one thing that is real and true for you to this person.

These 7 lies are not the only ones that prevent you from having a relationship that’s alive and growing but
understanding not believing them is a good place to start.

Animals know us better than almost any other being on the planet. They see what’s in our minds eye and they feel what we’re feeling. They can get closer to our hearts than anyone else because they get under our defense mechanisms!

In order to stay healthy personally and within our community, we must stay connected with the animals, treating them with respect and honor, listening and learning from them on many levels.

Many ancient tribal societies believed that animals carried the illnesses and stresses of their people. Today animal health care providers confirm that because they see a significant correlation between stressed owners and their sick animals.

For instance, Tanya’s dog was paralyzed and she wanted me to do healing work with her. So I did and we saw some wonderful improvements. From no feeling or control of her hind end and tail, she was able to feel again, and was even able to wag her tail!

Tanya disclosed that she’d been having back problems as well. We were amazed to discover that the exact same injured area in her dog was also injured in her!

Our backs have a lot to do with our support network and how stable we are in our lives. Tanya had been through a divorce, was feeling unsupported and cut off from her friends. So was it a surprise that her dog, who loved her so very much, was sponging off the pain and difficulties into her own body in order to help her human cope?

Maimonides, the 12th century philosopher and physician said that if we took care of ourselves as well as we do our animals we would suffer fewer illnesses.

Take a moment to notice how much you care for and love your pet. Notice the many gifts they have even though they may not be perfect. Love, appreciate and care for yourself at least that much.

Are you in any way neglecting your animals, or have forgotten to be grateful for their many gifts to you? This is also instructive and shows you ways you may be neglecting, judging or mistreating yourself.

Other Beings in our lives serve us by reflecting back to us the lessons we are here to learn. Many companion animals choose to spend their lives attempting to break through our barriers, help us heal and become reconnected with all Life.

They touch our hearts and for that we are forever grateful.

When my beloved, 15 yr old cat, Buddy, became seriously ill and the veterinarian told me that he was in renal failure, I knew I really needed Val’s help. I had worked with Val before and received such great insights and comfort, but this was serious and I was scared. I didn’t know what to do.

After talking with Val, I had such peace of heart and mind.

Even though she confirmed my worst fear, that yes, he was dying; with her help I realized that death was nothing to be afraid of.

We talked about death, and how in the end, he would like some help, and that meant I had to face my biggest fear of all – having him put to sleep. We talked about the dying process and what I could do for him to help ease the transition. It was O.K. now for me to let him go.

Even in the final days of Buddy’s life when he quit eating and drinking and I became frightened again, Val continued to coach me through it and helped calm my troubled heart. She answered all my worried questions and fears. She didn’t let me down, she continued to love me through the whole experience with compassion and empathy. Val’s added insights helped me to face the fear, embrace it and enjoy the time I had left with my sweet cat, Buddy.

Because of her guidance I was amazed that the whole process of Buddy’s death was so natural and peaceful. It was a joyous life experience to be lived and not a terrible grieving process to be endured.

I would highly recommend to anyone Val’s talents as an animal communicator because she bridges the gap between people and their pets. With her insights and compassion and knowledge she creates a whole new and better way to look at your life and the animals that share your life’s experience.
