Enjoy the Forests, Be Careful With Fire and Please Do Not Feed the Bears by Mingo Morvin

Hey gang, its that time of the year again. Just a quick reminder to all that will be traveling through bear country this summer.

Do not become a problem for the bears.

The bears are out and about and looking for that ‘pickanick a basket’. The bears are more than willing to accept that tuna sandwich or Big Mack and fries rather than eating tubers, insects and grasses.

Please remember that when YOU donate that tuna sandwich it will lead to more behavioral problems with this food habituated bear and will ultimately cost the bear his life. And it all starts with that first individual that thinks it is cute to start this feeding process.

So please, when traveling to bear country feed yourself and not the wild animals. They do quite well on thier own.

While you are traveling through bear country, slowdown a bit and enjoy the wilderness that you are traveling through.

Checkout the flowers and trees. If you are in a conifer/hardwood mixed forest see if you can find a high point that overlooks this forest. Marvel at the pure numbers of greens in this forest mix.

I was amazed when I first saw this and am still in awe of the hues of green in a forest. So much to see and appreciate out there.

Enjoy the forests, be careful with fire and please do not feed the bears.

Enjoy your travels.

The First Step in Resolving Behavior Problems With Your Dog, Cat or Horse By Val Heart

How much time do you spend going over things that have happened to you, reliving old conversations, events or experiences?  How much time do you worry about the future?  About what’s going to happen later today, what you still have to do, what you’re doing tomorrow, this weekend or next month?

Nothing wrong with that except this… To your animal, it means ‘nobody’s home’.  You’re not there, present 100% with them.  And that leads them to do all kinds of things to get your attention.  Acting out, behaving badly, even getting sick… all because you’re not paying attention.

It also encourages them to try to figure you out – you’re like a giant puzzle in their life.  Who are you anyway?  They worry about you… because it’s not normal in the animal kingdom to not be conscious, aware, fully present at all times.  If they did that, they wouldn’t survive!

But what do most of us humans do?  We’re busy, mentally, emotionally and physically.  We are either thinking about the future or the past.  We got static on the brain and are constantly multitasking.

Our fast paced, highly technological culture presents a huge problem for your dog, cat and horse and is a source of much confusion, harm and even benign neglect. We’re simply not consciously aware or fully present with them.

They have an infinite wisdom and knowledge they could share with you… and all you have to do is pay attention. When your cat jumps on your lap or pats you with their paw or purrs so loud you can hear them across the room, they have something important to share with you.

All animals but especially cats are unhappy with your lack of presence.  They’ll do the darndest things to get your attention back to the present where it belongs.  Like rearranging your desk, peeing anywhere they choose to, hiding out, attacking you when you least expect, crying all the time, even resorting in extreme cases to angrily biting and scratching you with their lethally sharp claws… ouch!

To resolve this problem, you must learn to be fully present so you can listen to them through the power of animal communication.  Resolving any bad behavior problem starts with presenting yourself properly and having a heart to heart conversation.  That helps you know where the trouble is actually coming from… are they confused?  Is there a problem in their environment?  Are they afraid?  Angry?  Have they lost their trust in you, your family or life?  Are they not feeling well?

The first part of solving any problem is identifying it properly in the first place.

If you’re having a problem with your animal, they are asking you to pay attention.  You can prevent a lot of problems just by listening to them, being fully present.

One of my clients, Laura, had a cat who was in serious trouble.  Barney hid in the closet all the time, he cried a lot, he slept a lot.  He wasn’t using his litter box.  He wasn’t eating and had lost so much weight he was just skin and bones.  Laura spent a great deal of money, time and effort trying to find out what was wrong with him with little result.

Laura was afraid he was dying, and she was right, he would have died if she hadn’t contacted me when she did.  He was stuck in a lot of emotional and mental pain and couldn’t find his way out of the dark place.

When I talked with him, I had to be fully present and listen to him very carefully.  It turned out that he’d had a frightening experience at the vets when they did his dental cleaning that he needed to talk about. Once he understood what had happened to him, he felt safe to resume his life and be the happy, laid back, loving kitty companion he’d always been.

In the Learn Animal Communication in one Weekend™ Virtual Retreat, we practice a powerful exercise designed to teach you how to be fully present, peaceful, consciously aware.  Not only does this exercise improve the quality of your life, it’s an incredibly powerful state of being.

Your animals need you to be here now in order for you to help them, to hear them, and to protect them.

Want to feel how it feels to be fully present, alive, and able to connect and communicate with your animals?  You can easily shift your energy in just a few simple steps.

Notice any tension in your body, and rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10.  How present are you right now? One on the scale is not at all present and 10 is being fully 100% present.  Any answer you get is fine, there is no right answer.  Just take a minute to notice where you are right now.

Now, breathe deeply, relax and be heavy in your chair, and drop any tension in your body starting from your head and flowing through your fingers and toes into the earth.  Let yourself calm and settle.

Notice any busy thoughts and give yourself permission to give them appropriate attention later, but not right now.  Next, give yourself permission in body, mind and spirit to be fully present right now.

Focus on and feel your heart.  Image your animal friend and let yourself feel how grateful you are they are in your life.  Now, open your eyes and notice what’s different.  Where are you on the scale now?  What has changed with your animal?

Empower yourself by deciding right now to make a habit of being fully present each and every day.

A funny thing happens when you do that.  Others will feel more present too, your animals will be able to share their heart and mind with you more, and your relationships will have the opportunity to go deeper, become richer, and more nurturing.

3 Love Lessons From Your Animals

By Val Heart

Have you ever experienced being loved unconditionally?

Without reserve or embarrassment, from someone who doesn’t care about your weight, whether you have makeup on, if you’re having a bad hair day, or have issues, woundings or baggage? They don’t worry about whether you had a bad day at the office, had a argument with someone, or are hurting?

In our society, as we grow up, we received many subtle and not so subtle messages about being bad, how we get the wrong answer sometimes, and we suffer many painful and embarrassing experiences all of which make us feel we’re unworthy of being loved. In self defense, we learn to hide our hearts so we can fit in and conform so we can try to feel loved.

This is a very hurtful pattern that often continues throughout our lives. Until we learn to face our demons and can make new decisions about our worth, value and ability to be loved. It can be hard to find a safe, non threatening place to really feel love and let that in to help heal our hearts.

Fortunately for animal lovers, our animals are here to teach us about how it feels to be loved unconditionally. They demonstrate day after day what it means to care about someone without fear of rejection, to be in relationship with others without judgment, how it really feels to be embraced and loved with a whole heart, and offer the experience of being welcomed exactly as we are.

Who better to teach us about unconditional love than a puppy, kitten, or horse?

I was recently speaking with an environmental engineer, a scientist and researcher dedicated to helping corporations reduce and eliminate their toxic emissions so they leave a smaller footprint on the planet. This handsome, grey haired gentleman was used to being logical, scientific, and didn’t show or share his emotions easily.

But he started telling me about his dog, how she greeted him with exuberant joy every time he came home. He commented that his wife and children had never welcomed him like she did. And he had tears in his eyes as he reconnected with how it felt to be greeted with such love, acceptance, and a wide open joyful heart after a hard day at work. It lifted his cares and troubles, and helped him feel whole again.

Our wonderful animal teachers and companions are in many ways our best friends, our partners, and are the ones who know us better than anyone else. They often choose to spend their lives with us helping us heal, loving us when we’re sick or sad… Helping us in every way they can, they share our life experiences, and continually demonstrate what unconditional love really means.

Animals contribute to each of us and our planet in so many ways. The wild ones keep the circle of life strong, each one contributing in their way to everyone else. The native people knew that in order to stay healthy personally, and within their community, they must stay connected with the animals, treating them with respect and honor, listening and learning from them on many levels.

1. Take a little time out each and every day to listen to and respect your animal teachers. Pay attention to what they are telling you.

2. If they are ‘out of balance’, acting out in harmful or destructive ways, then notice where in your own life you may be out of balance or are incongruent within yourself.

3. If they are offering their unique viewpoints, sharing love or joy or simply being themselves, then flow with them with gratitude and honesty. Open your heart and let their love and light shine into all the dark corners of your soul and spirit, body and mind.

This is the gift that our animals give us every day if we let them, if we take time to connect with our hearts, feel our gratitude and appreciation that they are in our lives.

We rediscover our connection with the planet and our own Divine nature when we reconnect with other beings – and doing that makes us better humans.

Is Stress Making You and Your Animals Sick? By Val Heart

90% of dis-ease is either caused by, or made worse by, stress.

Modern life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations, and demands. For many, stress is so commonplace that it has become a way of life.

When you are consciously unaware and feel powerless to make positive changes, you accept tension, dread, worry and chronic anxiety as your normal ‘comfort zone’.

Animals reflect, react and respond to your distress in many ways. They mirror you on many levels in an effort to help you see more clearly what’s out of balance. They react to your tension, anxiety and worry by taking it into themselves so they can ‘help you’ (leading to illness or depression). And they respond to your stress with bad behavior, acting out, resistance or worse.

Stress is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way. When you sense danger – whether it’s real or imagined – the body’s defenses kick into high gear in a rapid, automatic process known as the “fight-or-flight” reaction, or the stress response.

The body doesn’t distinguish between physical and psychological threats. When you’re stressed over a busy schedule, an argument with a friend, a traffic jam, or a mountain of bills, your body reacts just as strongly as if you were facing a life-or-death situation.

If you have a lot of responsibilities and worries, your emergency stress response may be “on” most of the time. The more your body’s stress system is activated, the easier it is to trip and the harder it is to shut off.

If you frequently find yourself feeling frazzled and overwhelmed, it’s time to take action to bring your nervous system back into balance.

Long-term exposure to stress can lead to serious health problems. Chronic stress disrupts nearly every system in your body. Common symptoms include:

• heart disease
• high blood pressure
• increase in blood cholesterol
• weakened immune system
• insomnia
• anxiety, depression and addictive behavior
• headaches
• constipation or upset stomach
• back pain
• neck and shoulder tension
• shortness of breath

BodyTalk offers invaluable tools and techniques to:

• raise your stress threshold
• balance your nervous system to improve concentration, focus, retention and calm
• release muscular tension and structural compensation
• repair the damage that stress may have already caused
• support and strengthen an overwhelmed immune system

The #1 Secret to Resolving Bad Dog Behavior

Are you frustrated by not knowing why your dog is behaving badly?

Have you tried to correct the problems, but don’t honestly know what to do to resolve them?

Kim’s dog pal, Jody, a 4 year old terrier mix, had recently become horribly aggressive with other dogs and people too. They were at the point where Kim had realized she may have to find a new home for her… or put her down.

Kim was heartbroken as she and her kids loved their normally sweet natured, obedient and playful canine friend Jody very much. She couldn’t take Jody for a walk without fear that there would be a fight – with other dogs and even people! Kim couldn’t figure out why all of a sudden this was an issue when it had never been a problem before.

It was heart wrenching to see and Jody’s behavior had reached a critical point. Kim just wanted to know WHY her dog’s behavior made such a drastic turn for the worse.

Was it something Kim or her family was doing wrong? Did something bad happen to Jody or was something else going on that she didn’t know about yet? She just needed to know that she was doing everything she could before she made the final decision. She needed those answers FAST!

When she contacted me for an animal communication consultation, I talked with her dog and we were floored to discover what the real issue actually was.

Come to find out it was all a misunderstanding! One that almost cost Jody her life.

Kim and the kids had been watching TV and seen several shows where some really bad things had happened to some people in their community… tragic stories of people attacking and hurting other innocent people… and where dogs had attacked and hurt people too…

It had made them afraid. And Jody got the message. After that, Jody just wanted to protect her family from all those bad things… but since she didn’t know exactly where or who the bad people were, she became indiscriminate in her aggression.

Jody’s behavior changed dramatically after our consultation, and I’m delighted to report that Jody is still happily living with her loved ones and doing her job.

Just like humans, animals have their own side of every story to tell! But if we don’t take the time to listen to them, then their life, happiness, health and well-being can suffer…

Your animal friends are trying to tell you things every day. They try to tell you that they love you, what their purpose is and when things aren’t right in their world. They may also be trying to tell you things aren’t right in YOUR world!

Communicating with your animals helps you hear them so they can tell you if they’re happy, if they’re in pain or feel sick, or if they need to tell you something important so you can enjoy a magical heart connection!

Make sure that your animal’s life is as happy, pain-free and as full as it can possibly be through animal communication.

Without communicating directly with your animal, you can’t know why they behave the way they do or how to best resolve problems.

Waiting too long to get help for a problem that’s not going away on its own can cost you a ton of expensive guesswork, energy and time… and could even cost your animal their life.

What Animals Can Teach Us About the Joy of Animal Communication

By Val Heart

Have you ever had an amazing, life changing experience? Wished you could share it with someone else so they could experience it like you did complete with all the feelings, sounds, smells and images?

Telepathic interspecies communication is like that. You remember an experience and then offer it to someone else, from your heart to their heart, from your mind to their mind. Then, they can experience it almost as if they had been there, too.

Is this possible? You bet it is. Your animals have been trying to teach you about true, heart centered telepathic communication all their lives. Sometimes we get it and when we do, the experience changes our life! And sometimes we’re just too dense (or untrained or close minded) to hear their messages.

What can happen when you know how to connect and communicate with animals? One animal communication student was so excited. She told me that she and her dressage horse were now in total sync with each other.

For instance, if she thought about going out to her barn to see or work with her horse and glanced out the window to see where her mare was in pasture, her horse at that very moment would lift her head and look at her there in the window in the house. Then, while she was still watching and before she even left the window, her mare would head off toward the barn to wait for her!

Every animal lover knows they have a special connection with the animals in their lives. Many young children can “hear” animals talk – that is, until others convince them that animal’s are dumb and unable to think for themselves.

When we limit ourselves to the accepted modes of human speech, we shut ourselves down. And, sadly, we lose an important part of ourselves – our connection with all of Life.

Learning to communicate with animals is a gift many companion animals have been trying to give us every day of their lives.

Humans have traditionally thought of themselves as separate and more intelligent (read “important) than other Beings unlike themselves. Since “others” don’t talk, look or act like we do, then they must be inferior in some way. Until recently, this had been easy to believe about animals since they cannot speak “our language”.

However, recent studies have discovered that other species are much more intelligent than previously thought, and may surpass human intelligence in many ways. Animals use a variety of communication techniques to converse with each other.

The use of sound frequencies, scents and body language are easily observed, and researchers now know there are additional variables. I believe that these variables are largely telepathic and energetic in nature, and that every Being is born with the ability to communicate on this level.

You read right – animals are telepathic! They can see what is in your mind’s eye, and feel what you are feeling.

Have you ever noticed how Fido disappears when it is time to go to the Vet or get a bath? Or how your animal senses your moods and knows exactly what you need? This isn’t an accident or a coincidence. When they pay attention, they always know what is going on with us.

Do you have something you have been trying to tell your animal friend?

Try this simple technique: Create a movie video in your imagination of exactly what you want them to know, complete with emotions and images. Don’t get too complicated; just concentrate on what you want them to understand or do. And then see what happens.

This technique is helpful in training situations, in preparing pets for changes in their lives, and in explaining what you want from them. Of course, this is only one-way communication, but it is a beginning.

Animal communication isn’t mind control. And, many times they may need to tell you something before they can (or are willing to) comply with your wishes.

Learning to communicate telepathically and share life experiences with other Beings is a priceless gift. It allows us to better understand that we are not alone, that we are connected, and that we can help each other.

Communicating intimately with other species also enriches our own lives through the sharing of our experiences with one another. Many companion animals choose to spend their lives attempting to break through our barriers, help us heal and become reconnected with all of Life and our Divine Nature.

If you’re really serious about re-discovering your telepathic ability so you can share life’s experiences with your animal, you don’t need to wait another day. Please don’t simply accept things the way they are now, you can re-remember how to talk with animals yourself.

Do this one thing for yourself and your forever animal friend, and watch how it changes your life and every relationship you have.

How To Discover Who Animals Really Are

When I was a child, sometimes I would dream about what it would be like to be an animal. I’d still be “me” – just living in a dog’s body. Maybe that Disney movie “The Shaggy Dog” had something to do with my pondering the possibilities at the time, but I certainly thought it would be a wonderful experience.

Now that I’m all grown up and enjoying following my life’s passion as an animal communicator, I understand the importance of imagination. As a matter of fact, imagination is crucial to success as an animal communicator. Think about it – if you can’t imagine yourself doing something, you certainly won’t do it. All thoughts, all ideas, all possibilities begin in the imagination.

And once you give yourself permission to imagine, experiencing life through the eyes of an animal is an indescribably special moment. You find yourself in a place where you are fully able to experience communicating with all beings, with all of nature, with all of life, just as we were born knowing how to do.

Our animals do it all the time. Yet we have forgotten how. Wouldn’t it be great if you could re-remember the Universal language of telepathy?

You know our animals are uniquely animals. They are being exactly what they are meant to be. One minute they seem to have the wisdom of the ages in their souls, then the next minute they’re off chasing butterflies!

I believe that many animals are master teachers and/or angels in disguise. They are in touch with other dimensions, time and space – way beyond what humans can typically touch. Most importantly, they all have something wonderful to teach us – if only we would listen.

Something I always love to do through my Animal Communication Made Easy System is to help people understand what animals are thinking and feeling. It always amazes folks to hear some of the most profound truths coming from the being they may have previously considered “unintelligent”, “obstinate”, or “slow”.

For instance, I worked with a beautiful Arabian gelding who had this to say as he pranced and danced for his human audience who had gathered around to listen:

“Humans close themselves off from each other. I sorrow for your misunderstanding and sense of loss and isolation. These bodies are our “tickets” to life in this dimension. They are a great gift. We are to use them freely, with passion, enthusiasm, love, celebrating being with others with open hearts and minds.

You see, we are all on a Quest—each being holds a key—a key to the embodiment and expression of our Divine Nature. As we participate with each other in the game called Life, we grow into who we truly are and are meant to be.

Life is to be shared freely—joy, laughter, passion, caring posturing—it’s all in the game! By being with me, watching me, enjoying me, I remind you of yourself and your own truth.

I tap the heart of you, reminding you of what’s good, right and true. And so, I challenge you to remember.”

Animals have so much to teach us, but as humans we’ve deprogrammed ourselves from the Universal language of all creatures. So we do not hear their hearts anymore, and in doing so, we’ve lost our own heart as well.

Perhaps there have been times when you felt your animal was a master teacher or angel in disguise. It’s entirely possible. The fact is you never know who you may be living with!

The fabulous news is you can learn to hear. You can learn to talk and share your world with you most devoted animal friend.

My World’s 1st complete Animal Communication Made Easy System™ is a package designed to help you re-discover your ability to communicate telepathically. You were born knowing how to communicate at this level so my mission is to help you re-remember your gift.

Millions of people around the world know how to communicate heart to heart with their animals now. You can too.

Through a series of CD’s recorded live from my teleclass workshop, I’ll guide you through your own rediscovery.

If you’re really serious about re-discovering your telepathic ability so you can share life’s experiences with your animal, then you don’t need to wait another day. Please don’t simply accept things the way they are now, you can re-remember how to talk with animals yourself.

The Fawn That Forever Changed My Life

When I was 6 years old, my friend Jan and I were enjoying a nature walk in the woods down by Lake Travis and we discovered a small fawn laying quietly, almost hidden in the brush.

We were delighted! A real, live fawn!? We’d seen the movie Bambi, of course, but hadn’t ever seen a live fawn before, and certainly not up close and personal… It was close enough to touch!

It was tiny, spotted, and had the softest, biggest liquid brown eyes… It didn’t run from us like we would have expected. So we gathered close and were very quiet and respectful so as not to alarm or scare it away.

We carefully reached out to pet it and it just laid there very still, panting softly. We marveled at the beauty of its golden brown coat, the amazing white spots scattered across its back, its delicate sensitive mouth, oh-so-black nose and cute little tail.

It seemed to tolerate us very well, and we thought it was the most amazing creature we’d ever seen. We felt like we had found a new best friend and were rapidly falling in love with it!

Then we noticed that the fawn was missing half of its left front leg. He just had a bloody stump with the white of the bone sticking out…

Horrified, we finally realized that this lovely and wonderful baby deer was mortally injured. He stayed put because he couldn’t run anymore from whatever monster had attacked him.

Hurriedly, Jan and I made a plan to try to carry the fawn home, but realized quickly that we would hurt it more by doing so… So we raced off to find our parents so they could come help us figure out what to do to help it.

By the time we got home and back, it had died. We stood there and cried because something so horrible had happened to this sweet creature, and because we’d felt powerless to do anything about it.

In looking back, I think that this experience shaped my life in many interesting ways.

For instance, I have a very soft spot in my heart for deer. And I have a passion for protecting and safeguarding wildlife and animals of all kinds.

I confess I also feel deep anger and outrage against those who kill animals for profit, who orphan babies and destroy family groups, and who endanger whole species for the sake of profiteering.

I had the privilege of interviewing Dr Laurel Neme this week on The Real Dr Doolittle Show. She is a CSI wildlife forensic specialist, and she and others like her are working hard to help stop poachers of wildlife and exotic animal traffickers.

One of the newest most exciting areas (and dangerous) field to work in, these amazing people are working to solve crimes against nature, and bring these criminals to justice.

I applaud her efforts and all those who work in this field. And I know you’ll enjoy listening to our interview.
