Dog Lovers Q&A Class

Thank you for registering for this remarkably informative call!
The top 3 questions I received were about Biting, Barking and Urinating in the house.
Listen and learn my top tips and techniques on how to deal with these issues, and many more dog related problems.
I also had the opportunity to work with several students and their dogs live in the class, which I know you'll enjoy.
And, you'll hear several of my personal stories with my dog Einstein. He's a remarkable teacher, and it's been quite a journey of discovery for us both.
NOTE: I shared the story of how I was finally able to complete Einstein's house training at 3 months old. There have been some confusion about that, and I wanted to tell you the rest of the story.
First, I never use harsh or abusive methods of training - ever!
I work with the individual to find the gentlest possible positive methods in order to find what works. If those methods fail which sometimes happens with very strong minded, opinionated dogs, then we may try something more radical to get their attention.
In Einstein's case, we'd tried all the gentle positive methods of house training first with basically good results - to a point. He's a very strong minded however, and I finally resorted to a method that his breeder did with Einstein's father that worked for them.
It's a bit dramatic, and I don't recommend you do that with your dog without a professional's guidance. I shared the story to illustrate several key points about house training your dog.
I'll be covering these techniques and giving you much more guidance in the new Happy Healthy Dog series, especially for Adolescent and Mature Dogs.
